The hotel's rooms, although not the most luxurious I have ever stayed in, are a decent size for Japan, though quite small for 2 adults and 1 toddler in terms of Japanese perception of space. The service, while very slow and inefficient in handling customer requests, was friendly and helpful with staff just standing there walking to each other of all the little things. The location was close to the train station and Shinjuku area, being excellent and the best reason I chose this hotel, with a vending machine outside the room to the main station Shinjuku where you can connect everywhere in Tokyo, central to Shinjuku but slightly away from the main center, near Shinjuku station with lots of cafes, restaurants, and shopping around. Dining was available for a fee we did not purchase but is good, with western, local, and Asian food available in the hotel; it even offers organic Quebec cheeses. Two positive aspects were the great location and the value for money, while the two negatives were the room size and slow service.

The hotel's location is fantastic, offering proximity to bustling shopping areas and the serene Shinjuku Gyoen National Gardens. The rooms, while a bit dated with small space, were still decently cozy. The service was friendly, although lacking in some aspects. Dining options were satisfactory, offering a mix of western and Japanese cuisine. The hotel's facilities were adequate, catering to basic needs.

The hotel offers standard and basic rooms; however, they charged an extra 3000 yen for my child, which I found quite expensive for the small room. The service, especially during breakfast for a first-timer in Shinjuku, was less than warm and welcoming, being inflexible about timing. On the bright side, the location is excellent for exploring Tokyo and having plenty of nearby attractions.

My stay at the hotel was pretty good overall. The rooms were very functional and quite spacious, with a clear view of the Gakuen Cocoon tower in the distance. It was the perfect size for me and in such a wonderful location for the price I paid. The service was helpful but slightly slow at times. The location was great, just 200 meters from Shinjuku station, making it convenient to explore the area. I didn't try the dining options, but they seemed nice. The facilities were decent, nothing extraordinary but practical.
